Huge restaurant just outside the Islamic Youth Centre in doveton. Very warm and middle eastern inspired modern decor. Great coffee. So good to know theres decent coffee being served in the area. Food portions are huge...price is also huge. You pay for what you get. Small eaters are better off sharing or you can expect to take food home.
Pillars of Guidance Cafe is a beautifully designed restaurant located in the South Eastern suburbs of Victoria. Serving an array of multicultural cuisines with a modern twist, that not only look stunning but taste just as good. I've been to PGCC a fair few times since it's opened and my favourite items have got to be the summer time chicken strips (pretty sure this is what it's called), the gourmet pizzas and ofcourse the desserts and cakes.  During Ramadan along with the existing menu PGCC offered special banquets every weeknight, including Afghani night, Burger night and Steak night, to name a few. Pillars of guidance is not only a cafe but am Islamic community centre where you can not only have a wonderful meal with the whole family, but pray your salat, and even stay and attend or sign up for a variety of classes, including cooking classes which are held once a month!
