The dosas were really nice and they had so many different types too. The indo chinese was good too even though not much of a chpice. But i wont say its the best ive had. Still looking for a good indochinese place. But for a late value meal this is good.
It was good to see a halal shop at Asiatique. The chicken kebab was good. For 70 baht, it was worth. The sauces inside were tasty.
This was a really good experience. Staying in thailand for the few days, we didn't have the time to go looking for halal places. So we were lucky to stumble upon as we were also living in Nana, close to the hotel. The restaurant serves arabic cuisine as well as thai and they even serve breakfast from 7 AM. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, chicken green curry rice and also a saucy beef dish. This is the first time I have had rice where they mix the green curry in the rice. It was soo good. We chose mild spicy but it was quite hot. But so yum. These type of rice dishes no sides are even required as they are filled with so much of flavour. The beef dish was yum too. I love the different vegetables they use in thai cuisine. A good way to get your greens.
After what seems like eons, I had a shawerma. My preference is always chicken. My husband had a beef one and a chicken one. I would say not bad. It wasn't 10/10 but it was good too. They don't use pita Bread which was a let down but the substitute wasn't too bad; a thin paratha type roti. There was a lot of mayo and the chicken wasn't grilled to the maximum but it was still yummy and fulfilling.
We walked past this restaurant but then decided to give it a try. We do not regret it at all. We were led to the upper floor as that was family area. So we got some privacy. The restaurant is well kept. It's clean and neat. We were happily met with the free soup that came at the beginning. It was refreshing and just what we needed. We were then able to wait for our food on not so empty tummies. I also ordered a watermelon juice which was so good. Sweet and fresh yumm. Finally the food arrived and it was so satisfying. Loved it. Just like the mandi I've had in the UAE. Very authentic. Would never have expected it in bangkok, of all places.
So at 8:30 AM in the morning on a Sunday this was the restaurant that was open. It was a good option as it was indian and halal. Only problem would be that they don't have a good breakfast menu so the other food like rice and things seem too heavy. We ordered the chicken vindaloo with some paratha. It was tasty but I would say to order it to be more spicy than just mild. Their prices were a bit higher than we expected.
Yum! Grab your yummy nutella filled or Nutella spread or anything chocolate donut today! I'm loving the different types, like the Rolo donut; the kitkat one, the MnMs and then there's the ferrero.
We ordered these Pizzas at work today. I wasn't aware of this halal pizza place. We ordered a chicken and pineapple pizza, a vegeterian pizza and Margherita pizza. Really tasty. Thick and crispy crust.
